About Us

The Company

Janet Hammersley Consulting Ltd is a British registered company but located in Brasschaat to the north of Antwerp, Belgium. The company has clients in and around Antwerp as well as in Brussels and The Hague in the Netherlands (Holland). Most of our work is in designing web sites for small companies but we also give private and group lessons in the use of various computer software packages.

Janet HammersleyI started my career as a teacher of music and German and have many years experience teaching both children and adults in England, Germany and Singapore.  I moved into Information Technology (IT) in the 1980s when I took a B.Sc. (Hons) in Business Studies and Computing.  Amongst other things the computing course comprised systems analysis and database design and implementation using Oracle.

After moving to Singapore I founded Computers Personally.  On moving to Antwerp I set up Janet Hammersley Consulting Ltd. The company’s aim is to tailor solutions to the IT problems faced by both individuals and companies.

I currently work in and around Antwerp, Brussels and den Haag. I also offer my services to charitable organisations who cannot afford expert IT advice.
